Community Guidelines
Effective {{EFFECTIVE_DATE}}. Part of the IDOL CLUB Terms of Service.
IDOL CLUB is a shared stage: be kind, keep it age-appropriate, keep personal information private and respect other people's work. Breaking these rules can cost you chat, features or your account. They apply everywhere in IDOL CLUB: chat, rooms and visits, hubs, group and fandom names, idol names, logos, choreographies, room decorations, banners, speaker audio and profiles.
1. Be kind
- No bullying, harassment, threats, stalking or encouraging others to target someone.
- No hate speech or symbols attacking people for race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age or any similar trait.
- No sexual content of any kind, and no sexualising anyone. Content that sexualises a minor ends your account permanently and is reported to the authorities.
- No content that glorifies violence, terrorism, self-harm, suicide, eating disorders, drugs or alcohol abuse. If you are struggling, talk to someone you trust or a local helpline; you can also write to {{SAFETY_EMAIL}}.
2. Keep personal information private
- Never share or ask for real names, addresses, schools, phone numbers, email addresses, social media handles, photos, live locations, passwords or payment details.
- Never ask another player to move to another app, meet in person or send pictures.
- Never ask another player's age to single them out. Adults must not seek out younger players.
- IDOL CLUB staff will never ask for your password.
3. Play fair
- No cheats, hacks, exploits, modified clients, bots or automation.
- No selling, buying, sharing or trading accounts, items or currency for real money or anything outside IDOL CLUB.
- No scams, phishing, fake giveaways or pretending to be IDOL CLUB staff or a moderator.
- Found a bug that gives an advantage? Report it to {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}} instead of using it.
4. Respect creators and real people
- Only use names, logos, artwork and audio that you created or have permission to use. See the Names, Trademarks & Real People Policy and the Copyright, Music & Speaker Policy.
- Do not name your group, fandom or idol after a real band, artist, label, brand or celebrity, and do not copy their logos.
- Do not impersonate real people, other players, IDOL CLUB staff or moderators.
- Talking about your favourite real artists in chat is fine. Presenting your in-game group as theirs is not.
5. Rooms, visits and the speaker
- Your room is yours to run. You can remove or block visitors, and you are responsible for what your room shows and plays while people are inside.
- Decorations must follow these rules too: no furniture arranged into offensive words, symbols or sexual shapes.
- The speaker may only play audio you own or have permission to share. No sexual, hateful or violent audio, and no audio meant to scare or harass visitors.
- Every visitor can mute your speaker at any time. Do not try to get around a mute or a block.
6. Chat
- Text chat is limited by age. Younger players see only the safer chat options described in the Children & Parents Notice.
- Our filters hide some words and personal details. Do not try to get around them with spacing, symbols or misspellings.
- No spam, flooding, advertising, links or recruiting for other services.
7. Reporting, blocking and muting
- Tap a player's name or idol and choose Report. Pick a reason. We attach the recent chat lines, the room, the names involved and, for speaker reports, the track details shown on screen.
- Block stops a player from chatting with you, inviting you or entering your room. Mute silences their chat or speaker for you only.
- If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first, then write to {{SAFETY_EMAIL}}.
- Knowingly false or mass reports are a violation too.
8. What happens when rules are broken
We look at what happened, how serious it was and the player's history. We may skip steps for serious cases.
| Action | Typical reason | Duration |
|---|---|---|
| Warning | First minor issue, e.g. spam or mild language | — |
| Chat mute | Repeated insults, spam, filter evasion | 24 hours to 7 days |
| Feature lock | Misuse of the speaker, naming, visiting or logo tools | 7 to 30 days, or permanent for that feature |
| Forced rename or reset | A name, logo or decoration that breaks the rules; no free-change cooldown applies | Immediate |
| Suspension | Harassment, cheating, repeated violations | 1 to 30 days |
| Permanent ban | Child-safety violations, threats, doxxing, illegal content, fraud, repeat infringement | Permanent; may cover devices and linked accounts |
When we act on your content or account we tell you which rule was broken, what we did, whether it was automated, and how to appeal. You can appeal within 6 months through the in-game Support screen or {{SUPPORT_EMAIL}}; a person reviews every appeal. Items and currency on a banned account are not refunded, except where the law requires it.
9. How we moderate
We use automatic filters, player reports and human review. We can read reported chat and look at reported rooms, names, logos and speaker activity. We do not check everything in advance and cannot promise that every player follows these rules, but we act on reports. We may report illegal content, child-safety concerns and credible threats to the police or child-protection organisations.
