Children & Parents Notice
Effective {{EFFECTIVE_DATE}}. Part of the IDOL CLUB Privacy Policy.
Players under 13, or under the digital-consent age in their country, play IDOL CLUB in Junior mode: no free-text chat, no speaker, no targeted ads, no push notifications, and we collect only what the game needs to run. Parents can see, delete or stop this data at any time through {{PRIVACY_EMAIL}}.
1. How we know a player's age
When IDOL CLUB starts for the first time we ask for the player's birth month and year, without hinting at any age limit. Where the app store gives us an age range for the account (for example Apple's Declared Age Range or Google Play's age signals), we use that as well and apply the younger result. The answer is locked on the device and the account; changing it later needs a parent.

3. What we collect in Junior mode, and why
We collect only what IDOL CLUB needs to work and to stay safe:
- a random player ID and a sign-in token kept on the device, to save progress and keep the account secure;
- game progress, items, creations and Quick Chat messages, to run the game and handle reports;
- the country chosen during setup and the device language, to apply age rules and show the right language;
- the IP address while connected, used only to connect to rooms and prevent abuse;
- technical data such as platform and app version, to fix bugs;
- purchase receipts from the app store, to deliver items. We never see card details.
We do not ask for or keep a child's real name, email address, phone number, photo, voice, precise location or contacts. We do not sell children's data, share it for advertising or build advertising profiles. The service providers we use for hosting, live rooms and crash reports process this data only on our instructions.
4. What other players can see
Other players see a junior player's idol, in-game names, room, creations and Quick Chat lines. They do not see age or any contact details.
5. Parents' rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- show you the data we hold about your child;
- delete it, or delete the whole account;
- stop further collection, which closes the account.
Write to {{PRIVACY_EMAIL}} with your child's player ID, shown under Settings › Account. We take reasonable steps to confirm you are the parent before acting, and answer within 30 days.
6. How long we keep it
We keep a junior player's data while the account is active. If a junior account has not been used for 24 months, we delete it. Chat and report records are deleted on the schedule in the Privacy Policy. Data in backups is overwritten within 35 days.
7. If we learn a child is in the wrong mode
If we find that a player under the Junior mode age is using IDOL CLUB outside Junior mode, we move the account to Junior mode and delete any data that Junior mode would not have collected.
8. Tips for parents
- Use your device's parental controls: Apple Screen Time and Ask to Buy, or Google Family Link, to approve purchases and limit play time.
- Talk with your child about never sharing personal details with other players.
- Show them how to use Block, Mute and Report.
